Welcome to the 2015/2016 school year!!!!


We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer.  We all look forward to sharing an exciting school year together.



  • The first day of school is Wednesday, September 9th.  School begins at 8:30 am.
  • Kindergarten will have an early dismissal at 12:00 pm and grades 1-5 will be dismissed at 2:50 pm. Kindergarten will begin regular pick up at 2:45 pm starting on September 10th
  • All families are invited to accompany their children to their classrooms on the 9th through the 11th.
  • Kindergarten students are dismissed from their classrooms. 
  • For families of students in grades 1-5, your teacher will tell you where to pick up your child. 
  • Pre-K students will be receiving their own welcome letter with their ease in schedule.
  • Lunch is available in school starting the first day of school or you can send lunch with your child. 

Please take a moment to look at the September school calendar, since there are several days off during the month.  












If you are zoned for PS 158 have not already registered, we will be registering students on August 26th and August 27th between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Welcome to CLUB 158 Fall 2015!
The Fall Semester begins Monday, September 21, 2015

Registration begins Wednesday, September 16th at 8pm.

 Look for our tried-and-true classes, as well as 
some great new additions!
We are proud to announce our new partnership with Applause!, a performing arts company that has successfully served the UES for many years.  They will bring us Junior and Advanced Musical Theater classes, dance classes and more!!

We are also expanding our relationship with HobbyQuest to include a Fashion Design class, and with MakerState to offer Junior Engineering and 2 New Minecraft classes!

School Supplies

Supply lists for grades 1-5 are available by grade on our website.  Just look under "Classroom Connections" and click on your grade. 
Lists for Pre-K and K will be available after school begins.  

If you make supply purchases online through Amazon.com, please use the link on left side of PS 158's homepage.  Then the school will receive a portion of the proceeds.  Please note deliveries for parents cannot be made directly to the school--they should be sent to your home and brought in to your classroom teacher.

The project includes the modernization of masonry, parapets, and windows.
