PS 158 School Tours
School tours are one way for families who are interested in attending PS 158 to physically enter our space and learn about us.
Tours are conducted by students, parents and staff members: providing visitors an opportunity to get to know us by visiting various classes and spaces, meeting our School Leadership and staff, and getting a glimpse into our work.
Tours are for adults only. Tours begin promptly. Please allow at least 15mins to present your ID upon entry and come up to the 2nd floor auditorium. As all guests are to show ID upon entering the school building. You do not need to live in our zone to attend a tour.

CLASS SIZE REDUCTION
NYCPS is implementing a 5 year class size reduction plan to meet NYS mandates, which requires specific class size caps by September 2028.
- K-3: 20 Students
- 4-5: 23 Students
We are happy to share for 2025-2026 school year, PS 158 is meeting the reduce class size mandate in 70% of our classes.
PS 158 2025-2026 Class Size
- Pre-K: up to 18 students
- Kindergarten: up to 20 students
- 1st Grade: up to 20 students
- 2nd Grade: up to 32 students, current average 25 students
- 3rd Grade: up to 32 students, current average 21 students
- 4th Grade: up to 23 students
- 5th Grade: up to 23 students

In order to register you MUST have your child with you.
Please do not redact or alter any documentation.
Please also bring:
- Original Birth Certificate or Passport
- Immunization Record (does not have to be up to date)
- Two proofs of address (please see checklist)
