The PS158 Arts & Culture Residencies bring world-class creative experiences directly to our students.

This 2025-2026 school year, PS158 is partnering with organizations to offer an exciting lineup of performance arts programming designed to spark imagination, nurture potential, and strengthen cultural awareness.

Rooted in Creativity & Collaboration

Students explore a wide range of artistic disciplines led by professional teaching artists from NYC’s respected cultural organizations:

🎨 Marquis Studios – Hands-on visual arts performance projects that encourage problem-solving and self-expression.
💃 Ballet Hispánico – Culturally rich dance experiences rooted in Latinx traditions, fostering movement, rhythm, and global understanding.
🎭 Creative Stages – Drama, storytelling, and performance workshops that build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork.
🩰 American Youth Dance Theater – High-energy dance classes promoting technique, discipline, and the joy of movement.
