Everyday we are faced with new challenges due to COVID 19 health crisis and new rules we have to ask our children to follow. Their landscape has shifted dramatically since the spring. We are committed to providing a safe, stable and fun learning environment for our students as much as we can.

For the first time in over a decade we will not be able to host our annual Fall Festival due to safety regulations. However, we have not given up the ghost on school “spirit”. We invite our students to celebrate Halloween with us at PS 158. Students may wear a costume to school, if they choose. Please do not send your child with a costume mask, so as to not be confused with or interfere with required face coverings. Students may choose to wear fall themed or black and orange clothing or their favorite PS 158 gear instead of a costume. While we will not have any edible treats our teachers will have some festive tricks up their sleeves to share with our students.

Cohort A will celebrate on Wednesday, October 28th, Cohort B will celebrate on October 30th and our fully remote kids in Cohort D can celebrate on either or both days.

We are looking forward to sharing in the fun with all our children.
