A tradition at 158 where families are invited in for a session of learning with their students~
- Logistics: Families enter with PS158 School ID card with their child(ren) for expedited entry. No photos of cards. Adults who do not have physical School ID cards will have to enter through front York Ave doors and wait to show their gov’t-issued photo IDs to enter the building.
- Families do not need to feel the pressure to attend every single session. Teachers, staff and other families will be there to support all students. Families can also spread their time alternating between their children in school, if possible.
- To allow for focus and learning:
- Please use this time to learn alongside and with your child and not for in-depth, one-on-one discussions with the teachers.
- Please refrain from bringing food/drink and younger siblings with you, as we want this to be focused time, and all school rules apply.
- Please refrain from taking photos or videos of anyone else other than your own child. We have staff members who will help with pictures and parent-volunteers taking photos for the yearbook.
