Bring Learning to Life at PS158

At PS 158, learning doesn’t stop at the big red doors—it expands into the vibrant, diverse, and inspiring city around us. Through thoughtfully designed field trips, students experience hands-on learning that deepens their understanding across all subjects, carefully selected to spark curiosity, fuel critical thinking, and help students make real-world connections. Whether exploring natural wonders, historical treasures, or creative spaces, PS158 students engage with New York City as their living classroom.

Where Curiosity Meets Experience

Whether observing wildlife up close, sketching masterpieces, reading in majestic libraries, or walking through history, our students build knowledge through authentic experiences. These trips nurture a lifelong love of learning, encourage independence, and strengthen classroom lessons in meaningful and memorable ways.

At PS158, the world is our classroom—and every trip, generously provided by PS158 Parents’ Association, is a new opportunity to explore, discover, and grow.
